In order to cater additional rush of passenger at the end of winter holidays, the Pakistan Railway administration has decided to operate four special trains between Lahore to Karachi and Karachi to Lahore. The first special train will leave Karachi Cant at 12 am to Lahore today which will reach Lahore the next day via Nawab Shah, Khanewal and Okara.

The second special train will depart from Lahore on December 31 and will reach Karachi the next day at 7 pm via Shahiwal and Rahim Yar Khan. The third train will leave for Lahore from Karachi city on December 31 at 9 pm and will reach Lahore via Nawab Shah and Rohri. The last special train will depart from Lahore on 01 January at 10.30 pm which will reach Karachi the next day.
